IAE registries
A voluntary internal IAE registry: dated registration of methodologies, algorithms and developments by Association members with independent collegial review. A positive review results in a Certificate of Contribution (COC).
The COC does not confirm originality or priority, grants no intellectual property rights and does not replace a patent or copyright.
Search by record number. Public records are visible to everyone, confidential records are shown only by their number.

The registry is kept for the Association's internal records. It does not certify originality, authorship, ownership of rights, priority, validity or protectability.
The COC records the date the material was received and internal recognition. It is not a patent application: no legal priority is established and no intellectual property rights arise.
The record documents the fact and date of submission and internal recognition. What weight to give it is decided by the parties, a court or a tribunal. The COC is not an opinion on priority.
The record and the COC may be cited in résumés, publications and portfolios as evidence of documentation and IAE recognition.
Each record has a unique number. The IAE registry shows the number, date, author, title and status for it.
A COC may be taken into account when nominating in the Methodological Innovation category alongside other documented achievements.
The registry operates under the written IAE‑IPR Terms approved by the Board of Directors: the author's warranty, confidential and public modes, retention periods, the dispute procedure and a precise description of what the COC confirms.
The procedure is set by the IAE‑IPR Terms; timelines are approximate. Each stage is documented, and reviewers' opinions are attached to the COC.
Procedure
Each stage is documented and reviewers' opinions are attached to the COC. Timelines are approximate and run from receipt of the complete set of documents.
Step 1 · up to 5 days
The applicant confirms authorship and the right to submit (a warranty under the IAE‑IPR Terms) and chooses a mode: confidential or public. The Secretariat checks the package: method description, development history, publications, testing materials. A panel of three independent reviewers with relevant expertise is formed.
Step 2 · ≈ 14‑21 days
Three independent reviewers assess the material against a standardized matrix, and a consolidated score is formed collegially. The review does not establish originality or legal priority.
Step 3 · ≈ 30 days in total
After a positive collegial decision of the Credentialing Council, or of the Board of Directors until the Council is formed, the record is entered with a unique number, the date received and the author's name. The COC is issued over the signature of the Executive Director and can be checked in the IAE registry.
Assessment matrix
Each of the three reviewers scores the material against five criteria. The review does not assess originality or legal priority. The matrix is set out in the IAE‑IPR Terms.

What the COC confirms, who can apply and how a record differs from a patent.
The written IAE‑IPR Terms approved by the Board of Directors. They describe the author's warranty on submission, confidential and public modes, retention periods, the dispute procedure and exactly what the COC confirms.
A basic package: a description of the method, development history materials (publications, deposits, dated versions), examples of practical use and the author's warranty of the right to submit. Exact requirements are in the IAE‑IPR Terms.
The applicant receives a reasoned opinion with specific comments and may submit additional materials within 14 days. After a negative decision, resubmission is possible no earlier than 6 months later with the comments addressed. Negative decisions are not published.
No. It is a voluntary document of a private association: not a government document, a license, an expert opinion or an immigration decision. It does not confirm originality, authorship or priority. What weight to give it is decided by the relevant bodies, courts and parties.
Any current IAE member: Senior Member, CIE or Fellow of the Association. Non-members first apply for membership.
A patent is granted by the state and confers exclusive rights. The COC is an internal recognition document of a private association: it records the date of receipt and the review outcome, grants no intellectual property rights, establishes no priority and does not replace a patent, copyright or other legal protection.
