These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the iaexperts.com website. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. When you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website. The Website is operated by International Association of Experts, Inc. (IAE), a Florida nonprofit corporation in the United States.
By accessing or using iaexperts.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with: these Terms of Use, the IAE Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. When acting on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

These Terms apply to: all Website visitors, registered users, IAE members, applicants, any other persons accessing the Website or using its services.

The minimum age for using the Website is 18 years. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the Website or its services.
Acceptance of the Terms
Section 1
The iaexperts.com Website is the official online resource of International Association of Experts, Inc. and provides access to:
  • Information about IAE’s activities, governing documents, and programs

  • Submission of applications for membership and credentialing in the SM, CIE, F.IAE, and Prof.IAE, h.c. categories

  • The public membership-status verification portal, the IAE Global Register

  • The IAE-IPR Registry and applications for a Certificate of Contribution

  • Publications of the IAE Review journal

  • Manuscript submission to IAE Review

  • Information about the IAE Distinguished Award program and the Expert Registry

  • Communication with the IAE Secretariat
Description of the Website and Services
Important: IAE does not provide legal advice, expert opinions, expert-witness services, or any other professional services through the Website. Information published on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.
Section 2
All materials published on iaexperts.com, including: text, design, graphics, logos. Icons, images, audio and video materials, databases, software code. Collectively referred to as the Materials, are owned by IAE or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
The following are the intellectual property of IAE: the SM, CIE, F.IAE, and Prof.IAE, h.c. post-nominal designations, the name International Association of Experts, the abbreviation IAE, the Association’s logo. These designations may be used only by current IAE members in accordance with the IAE Style Guide. The right to use them ends immediately when membership ends.
IAE Membership Designations
IAE grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Website Materials and use them for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided that you:

  • Do not remove or alter copyright or other proprietary notices

  • Do not reproduce the Materials for commercial purposes without IAE’s written permission

  • Do not use the Materials in a manner that may create a misleading impression of affiliation with or endorsement by IAE

When quoting the Materials, identify iaexperts.com as the source and do not distort their meaning. Any use of the Materials not expressly permitted by these Terms requires IAE’s prior written consent. Requests should be sent to: info@iaexperts.com.
Permitted Use of Website Materials
Intellectual Property
Section 3
You may use iaexperts.com for lawful purposes consistent with the intended functions of the Website. Permitted activities include:

  • Reviewing information about IAE, its programs, and governing documents

  • Submitting applications for membership, credentialing, and registration in the IAE-IPR Registry

  • Verifying professionals’ membership status through the verification portal

  • Submitting manuscripts and communicating with the IAE Review Editorial Office

  • Sending enquiries and requests to the IAE Secretariat

  • Quoting publicly available Materials with appropriate attribution
Permitted Use
Section 4
When using iaexperts.com, you must not:

  • Use the Website for purposes that violate applicable law or third-party rights

  • Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Website Materials without IAE’s permission

  • Use automated tools, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to systematically collect Website data without IAE’s written permission

  • Take actions that create an excessive load on the Website infrastructure or interfere with its operation

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to IAE systems, data, or user accounts

  • Upload, transmit, or distribute viruses, malicious code, or other destructive software through the Website

  • Impersonate another person or organization, including IAE, its employees, members, officers, or representatives

  • Use the SM, CIE, F.IAE, or Prof.IAE, h.c. designations without current membership

  • Misrepresent your membership status

  • Publish or transmit content that is unlawful, false, misleading, or infringes third-party rights

  • Use the Website to collect other users’ personal data

  • Circumvent the Website’s technical protection measures
Prohibited Activities
Unauthorized use of IAE designations: The use of an IAE post-nominal designation by a person who is not a current IAE member, or continued use following termination of membership, violates these Terms and the IAE Code of Ethics and may result in legal liability for misrepresentation.
Section 5
Access to certain Website services may require the creation of a user account, including: application submission, a personal account area, the IAE Review portal.

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information

  • Update your information promptly when it changes

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and password

  • Notify IAE immediately of any unauthorized use of your account by contacting info@iaexperts.com

  • Accept responsibility for all activities conducted through your account

IAE may suspend or close an account when: these Terms have been violated, other lawful grounds exist. IAE will provide notice within a reasonable period unless notification is impossible or prohibited by law.
User Accounts
Section 6
When submitting any content through the Website, including: manuscripts, application materials, descriptions of methodologies submitted to IAE-IPR, enquiries sent to the Secretariat, other documents or materials you:

  • Confirm that you possess all rights required to submit that content or are otherwise authorized to provide it

  • Grant IAE a limited, non-exclusive license to use the content solely for processing your enquiry or application and performing IAE’s governing functions

  • Accept full responsibility for the truthfulness, accuracy, and legality of the submitted content

These provisions do not limit your copyright or other rights in User Content. Those rights remain with you. IAE does not claim ownership of User Content except where expressly provided by a separate agreement, such as a publishing agreement for IAE Review.

IAE may remove User Content that: violates these Terms, violates the IAE Code of Ethics, violates applicable law, damages the reputation of the Association.

Section 7
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services. These links are provided solely for users’ convenience and do not constitute IAE’s endorsement of: the third-party resource, its content, its products, its services.

IAE does not control and is not responsible for: third-party content, third-party privacy policies, the accuracy of third-party information, the availability of third-party resources. You access third-party websites at your own risk and subject to their respective terms of use and privacy policies.
Third-Party Links and Resources

The iaexperts.com Website and all its services are provided: “as is”, “as available”. They are provided without express or implied warranties, including warranties concerning: fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency, non-infringement of third-party rights, uninterrupted operation.

IIAE uses reasonable efforts to keep Website information accurate and current but does not guarantee:

  • That the Website contains no errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information

  • Continuous and error-free Website operation

  • Protection from viruses, malware, or other destructive elements

  • That use of the Website or IAE services will produce any particular result

Information published on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute: legal advice, professional advice, other specialized advice. IAE is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on Website information.
Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IAE and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors are not liable for:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Website

  • Losses resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

  • Losses arising from third-party acts or omissions on the Website

  • Losses resulting from errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in Website content

  • Losses caused by Website interruptions or technical failures

IAE’s aggregate liability for all claims connected with use of the Website will not exceed: the amount actually paid by you to IAE for the specific service giving rise to the claim or when no such amount was paid, US$100.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the complete exclusion or limitation of liability. In those jurisdictions, IAE’s liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IAE and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from claims, losses, expenses, and attorneys’ fees arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of third-party rights, including intellectual-property rights

  • Your submission of false, unlawful, or infringing content

  • Your unauthorized use of IAE designations or use contrary to the IAE Style Guide

  • Your actions resulting in a violation of applicable law
Indemnification
Section 11
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

All disputes arising from these Terms or connected with use of iaexperts.com must be brought exclusively before the state or federal courts located in: Miami-Dade County, Florida

By using the Website, you consent to: personal jurisdiction in those courts, venue in those courts. When you use the Website from a jurisdiction whose laws prohibit a particular provision of these Terms: that provision will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction

IAE may update these Terms at any time. IAE will notify users of amendments by publishing the revised version on the Website and identifying its effective date. Registered users and IAE members may also receive additional notice by email.

When amendments are material, IAE will seek to provide at least 14 days’ notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Website after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Users are encouraged to review this page periodically. The version date of the current Terms appears in the document heading.
Amendments to the Terms
Section 13
IAE may restrict or terminate access to the Website or any of its services at any time and on any grounds, including a violation of these Terms. Access may be terminated with or without notice at IAE’s discretion.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Website and its services ends immediately

  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law

  • IAE may retain information to the extent required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes

You may stop using the Website at any time. When you are an IAE member, termination of membership is governed by the applicable IAE membership rules.
Termination of Access
Section 14
When any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be ineffective only to the extent of the invalidity or unenforceability. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Severability
IAE’s failure to exercise or enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. Any waiver is valid only when confirmed by IAE in writing.
Waiver
These Terms, together with: the IAE Privacy Policy, the IAE-IPR Terms, the IAE Articles of Association, other documents expressly incorporated by reference. constitute the entire agreement between you and IAE concerning use of the Website. They replace all previous agreements and understandings concerning the same subject matter.
Entire Agreement
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without IAE’s prior written consent. IAE may assign its rights and obligations without restriction, including in connection with: reorganization, succession, transfer of operations.
Assignment
IAE is not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including: natural disasters, technical failures affecting internet infrastructure, government actions, other force-majeure events.
Force Majeure
These Terms were originally prepared in Russian. When a conflict exists between the Russian version and any translation, the Russian version prevails in the relationship between the user and IAE, unless otherwise expressly required by applicable law.
