The difference from an expert letter, labor organization status and the signatory.

An expert letter is signed by one specialist and expresses a personal professional opinion. An association letter is the position of an organization: the dossier is assessed by at least two subject-matter members, and the letter is issued on letterhead over the signature of the leadership. In a petition the two documents reinforce each other.

No. IAE is a professional association of experts, and the letter is issued as an advisory opinion of a professional association. Where the law requires a consultation specifically from a labor organization, the letter does not replace it, and the letter says so.

The leadership of the association, on the basis of the dossier assessment by registry members. The signatory's authority, the letter itself and the association's status are verified on the status check page by Member ID.

Yes. The draft goes to the applicant and the attorney before signing, and factual revisions are included. Revisions concern facts; the conclusions remain with the association.

No. IAE provides an independent expert opinion. IAE is not a law firm; the case strategy requires a licensed immigration attorney.

No. USCIS evaluates the letter together with the rest of the petition; the agency makes the decision. Neither IAE nor the association's members influence it.
