IAE maintains the IAE Global Register, a public registry for status verification and a directory of certified members. The Registry serves one purpose: to enable courts, arbitral tribunals, government authorities, businesses, and any other interested party to verify a professional’s status and review standardized information about their certification. IAE does not provide expert-witness services, operate as an expert agency, or select experts for clients. Every professional acts independently—as an independent expert, not as an agent or representative of the Association.

How It Works

Open the Registry
The IAE Global Register verification portal is available to everyone without registration, formal requests, or payment. You do not need to contact the Secretariat to verify a member’s status.

Find the Professional’s Record
You can search using: the professional’s name, their registration ID, the QR code displayed on their membership certificate. Every record is presented in the same standardized format for all Registry members.

Check the Status and Specialization
The record displays: membership category, certified professional field, certification date, current membership status. At a member’s request, IAE may issue a letter confirming that member’s status. Such a letter does not constitute a recommendation.

Work with the Expert Directly
The decision to engage an expert, the terms of their participation, and their professional fee are matters exclusively between the engaging party and the professional. IAE does not participate in these relationships, appoint experts, or receive compensation for their engagement.
IAE statuses are awarded under internal competency standards applied equally to all applicants. The standards have been developed with reference to EQF Level 7 descriptors and the principles of ISO/IEC 17024 solely for private benchmarking and standards-development purposes. IAE does not claim formal accreditation, equivalence, or government recognition unless and until such recognition has been obtained and publicly documented.

Objective, weighted criteria are established for each membership category. The Matrix is published by the Certification Council and reviewed at least once every two years.
Peer Review
The multi-stage certification procedure includes: documentary verification, independent review by two Council members, collegial voting, written reasons supporting the decision.

IAE Code of Ethics
The Code of Ethics is binding on every member. The disciplinary procedure includes: written notice, the right to present a defense, the right to appeal.
IAE is an independent international professional association. The Expert Registry was created to promote transparency rather than provide intermediary services. The selection of a professional always remains your responsibility, while the authenticity of their status can be confirmed within seconds through the public verification portal. How Can I Verify the Status of an IAE Expert?
IAE statuses and certificates are voluntary designations issued by a private professional association. They are not: government licenses, academic degrees, formal accreditations, immigration decisions. IAE does not claim that any of its statuses are recognized by a court, government agency, or other public authority unless such recognition has been formally obtained and documented. Any person, including a government authority, may independently verify a member’s current status through the public Registry.
Does IAE Membership Confirm Anything for Government Authorities?
IAE members may act as experts before courts and arbitral tribunals in the same manner as any other qualified professional, subject to the rules of the relevant jurisdiction. IAE does not accredit professionals for specific courts and does not guarantee the admissibility of their opinions. Admissibility is determined exclusively by the relevant court or tribunal. IAE confirms only the member’s status and the fact that they completed the Association’s certification procedure.
Can IAE Experts Participate in Court and Arbitration Proceedings?
Assessing independence and potential conflicts of interest in a particular matter is the responsibility of the parties and the tribunal. IAE does not participate in the appointment of experts and does not assess conflicts of interest in relation to specific proceedings. Members must comply with the IAE Code of Ethics. Their status and specialization can be verified through the public Registry.
No. Under the IAE Articles of Association, the Association does not: recommend members for particular cases, rank its members, prepare shortlists, select experts for individual matters, compile candidate lists in response to requests from parties, participate in negotiations concerning the terms of an expert’s engagement, receive compensation for referring professionals. IAE’s sole function in this area is to provide public status verification through the Registry. The engaging party selects the expert independently.
