Ksenia Kochetova is an art expert specializing in historical-cultural assessments and intellectual property objects. She has worked in the profession since 2006 and in expert practice since 2011, preparing forensic and non-forensic expert reports. She has practical experience with all types of fine art and antiques — in museums, auction houses, and private collections — covering both attribution and the assessment of market value and artistic merit.
A graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University (qualification: Art Historian, 2006) and PhD in Art History (Lomonosov MSU, 2011), with a dissertation on Japanese hagiographic scroll painting of the 12th–13th centuries. She began her career at the State Museum of Oriental Art with the attribution, preservation and cataloguing of Japanese graphic works, taught cultural studies at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology (MUCTR), served as an art expert at ANO FSE (Forensic Expert Service), and managed Antikvarus, an online art and antiques project.
Since 2013 she has worked as a guest art expert, collaborating with over 30 expert organizations across Russia; she currently serves as a guest art expert at the National Research Institute (NNII, Moscow). Her intellectual property profile is backed by the WIPO distance course "Intellectual Property Basics", a professional retraining diploma in Intellectual Property Protection, and the FIPS/Rospatent workshop "Your Intellectual Property" (2025). She speaks English (C1), Japanese (B1) and French (B1).
