About
Researcher in innovation management, entrepreneurship and international business with an academic and practical career in China, Hong Kong, Russia and the USA. PhD in Innovation Management from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing): the dissertation examined the effect of networks on the performance of small and medium innovative firms using Zhongguancun (China) and Silicon Valley (USA). She holds an engineering degree from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
She taught Leadership and Communication, Intercultural Business Communication and Human Resource Management at Shenzhen University, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Business School of Shantou University, and worked as a research fellow at HKUST on the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area innovation and technology hub project. At Skoltech she coordinated the MIT and Skoltech strategic development programme with a budget of over USD 1 million. Co-founder of the biotech startup Primerlife, which raised USD 150,000 in pre-seed investment.
Author of more than ten articles in SSCI and SCI journals, including Technology in Society (Q1). Winner of the Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Paper of the Year. IAE Senior Member in the Economics and Management track: innovation management, entrepreneurship and business models of technology companies.
