IAE Review publishes Svetlana Egzhanova's article on railway simulation

The article "The evolution of railway simulation: from a virtual cab to an intelligent competency management system" appears in the Methodology section.

Svetlana E. Egzhanova is a railway engineer who worked at the Design & Engineering Bureau of Locomotive Operations of JSC Russian Railways from 2010 to 2023. Simulator complexes developed under her leadership cover more than 30 locomotive series.

In the article she describes the shift from data on individual training sessions to information on competencies, and the principle of an adaptive training scenario.
